Dear Ruby, Hey sweetie! I pray that everything is going well for you. Summer is coming, do you have any plans? Are you going on vacation or just handing out at home? My plans are currently up in the air so to speak.
I found out my case goes up for oral argument in front of the Illinois Supreme Court on May 13th. I assumed I’d be coming home shortly thereafter. Then, I found out that after they hear the argument, it takes 3 weeks to 3 months for the court to hand down a decision. So, no earlier than June, no later than my birthday in August. I really want to be home by the 4th of July this year so please pray for me.
I really wish I could talk to you. It would be so great to hear your voice and all about what is going on in your life. I just keep holding onto hope that I’ll only be gone just a little longer. I pray you are being taught about Jesus, I can’t tell you how much He has got me through this time in my life. Your Dad is a strong guy, but this time taken from the people I love would have been too much for me on my own. God has given me the ability to not only be joyful in this walk, but to be able to pull up others in theirs.
He is so awesome, so amazing, and so worthy of our praise! I love you and miss you every minute of every day. I will continue to pray for you and your Momma to have that relationship with Jesus.
And remember, God made you special and He loves you very much.
