Dear Ruby, hey sweetie! I hope you had a great Independence Day! Did you go see fireworks? I can’t wait until I get to see some, I mean, I did watch some on TV, but that isn’t the same.
Has your summer been fun? You do much swimming? I cannot wait to go swimming. It has been really hot, I’m so glad I’m somewhere with air conditioning. I really wish we were able to take pictures here. You would love to see these chipmunks, rabbits, and birds eat dry ramen noodles, nuts, and chewy candies right from our hands.
I want you to know how God is working in my life and making all kinds of things happen for me. I keep praying and He keeps answering. I want so bad for you to have a relationship with Jesus, too. I want you to know how important you are, not just to me, not just to your Mom, but to God. The same God that created the heavens and Earth, the God that made all the wonders of the world, knows you by name, He knows every hair on your head. He has a purpose for your life, He wants you to know Him too. I trust Him to restore our relationship, it may not be how and when I think it should be, but I trust that He will make it happen when He knows is the right time.
I miss you and love you so much, Ruby. And remember, God made you special and He loves you very much.
