Dear Ruby, well sweetie today is the big day, 14 years old. I hope you have an amazing birthday! It is incredible to me that my little pumpkin pie, who used to get chased by the ducks in the backyard, who use to have tea parties with me, who would paint my nails and put “meekups” on my face, is a fourteen-year-old adolescent girl now.
