Dear Ruby, Hey, I hope you’re doing well. In exactly one month the court will decide on visitations. I’m so excited. I know prayer, persistence, and patience will pay off.
Speaking of prayer and patience, I finally got my new chompers today!! They look nice and fit well. I got some fillings, too. I haven’t even tried eating with them yet. So, I’m feeling pretty positive.
So, we ended up losing our last softball game. We took third place out of 9 teams, though. I had a lot of fun playing and I tried to make sure the whole team had a good time, as well. I was approached about becoming a teachers aid, basically, helping people in Adult Basic Education/ GED classes. I’m excited to have a little more responsibility and to help some other people.
Honestly, I have missed out on helping you and Raiden with homework, especially math. This helps me feel like I get to be a dad, not to my own kids, but to some grown men. One day soon I’ll be there to help you through. God has a reason for these trials I’m facing; I trust in Him to work good through all things in my life. You should trust Him, too!
And remember, God made you special and He loves you very much.
Love and miss you, Daddy.
