Dear Ruby, hey sweetie!
I hope you’re doing OK, hope school is going well too! Speaking of school, I saw on the news yesterday some weirdo mental case shot up a Catholic school, some pervert boy that pretends to be a girl. There is a lot of darkness in the world, hun. But, it is important that you realize that “Darkness” isn’t a thing. Darkness is just an absence of light.
God is the light in this world, and us that believe shine his light as well. We are called to illuminate the world with His love. Darkness flees from the light. People have turned from God, they turn to drugs, social media, TV, and sins of the flesh. I pray day in and day out that you know Jesus, that you have a relationship with Him, that the lack of light in this world doesn’t hide you in darkness.
Remember, God made you special and He loves you very much!
