Dear Ruby, Hey sweetie!
I pray everything is going well with you. Tuesday makes another year in my life. I’ll be 44. Doesn’t that sound so old?!? I’m so thankful to have made it this far, thinking about how all my old friends who are gone. Hog, Andy Leitard, 40, Kacey, and all the others. God made a way to save me from a path of assured self-destruction. I will sing praises to Him forever more because of it.
I was hoping to have gotten to see you or at least talk to you by now, but that isn’t His plan yet. So, I’ve been studying for my law clerk test, that is about a headache. But when I pass the three tests, I’ll get 6 more months off.
Grandma Babe is coming to see me Tuesday, it is nice to have visits so frequently now. Plus, I get Mt. Dew and snacks when she comes, lol.
A few more weeks and I’ll have about 64 days of good time as well from a class called Start Now and from working. Then, I should go to the drug unit and I can put in for work release. I also got another fitting for some new teeth. Lots of stuff going on here!!
Anyways, I really hope everything is going well for you at home. I love you so very very much. And remember, God made you special and He loves you very much.
