Dear Ruby, hey sweetie! I found out today that court is going to be delayed, what’s more is that it had to be delayed even longer to cross-examine certain witnesses. I’m not going to go into the details of what was taking place, but when you’re older, I’ll explain some of the underhanded dealings. So now, court is delayed until November 10th (6-year anniversary of the day I was arrested.) By then, I could be in work release, I could be in the drug program here, or quite possibly could be home.
Since I’ve gotten all the arguments worked out for this parenting case, I can work on some other things. For instance, there is a series of three law clerk tests. If I pass them with an 85%, I will get 6 months good time. So, starting tonight, I’ll begin studying. Pray for me. I’m sorry our reconciliation keeps moving further away. Trust God. He has a bigger plan for us.
Grandma Babe told me that Raiden was on the news last night. He was working as a barista on his break from college. I can’t wait to see him again, too. I miss and love you both so much.
