Dear Ruby,
Hey Sweetie! I hope you had a great Halloween. I’m still waiting to see if anyone sends me a picture of you. It is finally getting chilly out, been seeing Christmas commercials again. I can’t believe it is about to be the 5th Thanksgiving and Christmas since I’ve seen or even talked to you. I have to try to not think about it because it hurts a lot, but I try to remember Romans 8:18, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be reveled in us,” that keeps me in a positive mental attitude.
Good news, I started my Food Service class. Not only do I get a day of good time for every day I attend class, we get to eat all kinds of real food that we make. Plus, I’ll have two certificates from Lakeland College when I’m done. I’m basically out of my cell from 8 AM to 4 PM, Tuesday through Friday. So, I’m losing out on a lot of yard and gym, but it is worth it to get home sooner. I’m still trying to get a job here to double up the good time, but no luck yet.
Still haven’t gotten my tablet yet, either. It has been like 3 weeks since I bought it. Oh well, I keep myself busy with books and TV when I’m in my cell.
Well, I hope you enjoy the rest of the Fall. I’ll write again soon. Have a happy Thanksgiving, we will be making a big dinner in class! Remember, God made you special, and He loves you very much!
