Hey Sweetheart! School should be in full swing by now. I hope you’re making new friends and learning new things. Always remember through, if someone is mean to you, it is usually because there is something wrong with them.
So, I finally got out of Stateville Receiving after 19 days. They sent me to Big Muddy River in Ina, Illinois. It was not on my top 15 prisons I’d want to go to list, it was actually in the bottom 7, lol. But I know a couple of people down here, 3 I met in jail, but Tre I know from home.
The food here has been pretty good though, I don’t ever think I’ll be starving like I was in the county. We only get 2 hours dayroom one day and 3 the next. We get yard every other day, and I’m not sure the gyn schedule yet. But we will have more movement when we get in school or a job. They don’t have much programming here through, so after a year I’m gonna try to transfer out.
Someone on the bus from NRC had scabies, 9 people on our deck in here ended up with it. They got moved to quarantine, but now we are on lockdown maybe for 14 days. I should have my TV this week, though, so I’m not too worried.
I turned 42 a couple weeks ago, sure would be nice to hear from you, or even get a picture of you.
