Dear Ruby,

Hey sweetie!  I hope everything is going ok for you.  Good news, they moved me to the sentencing block, so I’m that much closer to leaving the county jail.  To be honest, I’m going to miss everyone over there.  You get to know these guys pretty well spending every day with them.  I’m used to them leaving one at a time, so me leaving is like 20 goodbye’s at once.

Oh, Uncle Andie’s court date got continued until next month, so he won’t be leaving with me, but we still might end up at the same prison.

I could be leaving here any day, tomorrow, maybe Monday, maybe in a month.  This will be my last letter from the PSB.  The next letter will tell you all about the first day at Statesville receiving.

Today, I started reading my Bible from the beginning.  Before, I focused on the New Testament (The teachings of Jesus and the apostles.)  I plan on reading at least a few chapters every day and learning more about the stories in the Old Testament.  I already know generalities about most of them, but now I’m going to further my understanding.

I really can’t wait for you to share in the Word, Rube.  I really pray your Mom finds Jesus and shares His love with you.

I’m still waiting to hear updates on this surprise I’m working on, hopefully, it’ll be soon.

I love you and miss you.  I’ll be home before you know it, Pie.

                                             Love,

                                             Daddy
